KNUST TRANSWIFT TERMS AND CONDITIONS


  • What we expect from our users

    Follow these terms Permission is granted to use our system as long as you meet your responsibilities in these specified terms. Although we permit you to make use of the Transcript System, we provide and retain any intellectual property right we have for the service.

  • Content in Transcript system

    Your content The Transcript System allows you to share your Academic Transcript with institutions and individuals, for example, you may want a copy of your Academic Transcript sent via post or email to an Institution you have applied to and/or any other reasons that may require an Academic Transcript. Please be diligent with addresses and emails you provide for academic transcript delivery as we will not be held liable for the wrong information provided.

  • Transcript system content

    Our system provides you with information that comes in the form of an official document approved by the University. Requests made through our system will go through stages of verification and final approval and delivery or declination. We hold the right to decline a request if it does not meet the specified requirements.

  • Permission to use your content

    The transcript system is designed to let you upload, send, receive, or share your information. If you choose to upload or share content, please make sure you have the necessary rights to do so and that the content is lawful, right and appropriate.

  • Your Transwift Account

    If you are alumni or a current student of KNUST, you can create a Transwift Account for your convenience. The system has been designed to require that you have a Transwift Account to make a request. You are responsible for what you do with your Transwift Account, including taking reasonable steps to keep your Account secure, and we encourage you to keep your credentials private.

  • Applying for your KNUST Transcript

    You should ensure that all of the information you provide to the University and/or the email address and/or the recipient address for your application is true and accurate. If it is discovered that your application contains incorrect or fraudulent information, the University may withdraw the processing of your request.

  • Service-related communications

    To provide you with a great user experience, we send you feedback via the email you used for registering your account. If you choose to give us feedback, such as suggestions to improve our services we may act on your feedback without obligation to you.

  • Paying for Transcripts

    Payment can be done through various platforms which include: Mobile money, bank cards(Visa and Mastercard). Be careful not to share bank card details and mobile money pins with anyone. After making payment for any transcript request please confirm payment by ensuring that the payment status of the request is paid.

  • Taking action in case of problems

    Before taking action as described below, we will provide you with advanced notice when reasonably possible, describe the reason for our action, and allow you to fix the problem, unless we reasonably believe that doing so would:

    • Cause harm or liability to a user, third party, or KNUST
    • Violate the law or a legal enforcement authority’s order
    • Compromise an investigation
    • Compromise the operation, integrity, or security of our system.

  • Removing your content

    If we reasonably believe that any of your content (1) breaches these terms, system-specific additional terms or policies, (2) violates applicable law, or (3) could harm our users, third parties, or KNUST, then we reserve the right to take down some or all of that content following applicable law. Examples include content that facilitates human harassment and content that infringes someone else’s intellectual property rights.
